2009 Carneros Syrah

A naturally exuberant variety, Syrah can offer a full gamut of flavors and aromas. Our 2009 Carneros Syrah is no exception, with a nose of violets, camphor, persimmon and tea oil, fleshed out with jammy boysenberry and black cherry fruit on the palate.

A full bodied Syrah, the spicy fruit is well balanced with light acidity and supple tannins.

2010 S Block Chardonnay
Single Block Collection, Limited Production

From our prized block of “Old Wente” Chardonnay on the eastern most ridge of our Carneros Estate, the 2010 S Block captures in aroma, texture and taste, the brightness and depth of a remarkable vintage.

A packed and sinewy wine, the S Block offers up a heady mix of spice and flowers, linden and beeswax, with lingering notes of clove and vanilla. Aged on its lees for 15 months in French oak barrels, the wine is rich and broad with deep stone fruit flavors of nectarine and white peach, carried along by a silky, flinty lime peel acidity.
