2018 Pinot Noir, Gap's Crown

Winemaker's Notes

Our 2018 Gap’s Crown Pinot Noir is chock full of bright, fresh-crushed berry fruit that leaps out of the glass, with notes of lavender, mint and blueberry jam. Hints of spice and cocoa nib accent this densely flavored and richly textured wine. Often considered the crown jewel of the Petaluma Gap AVA, the Gap’s Crown vineyard is nestled on a southwest facing slope between 300 to 800 feet elevation, it enjoys cool breezes and late season fog that predominate in this region, allowing for long hangtime.
