2018 Pinot Noir, UV Vineyard

Winemaker's Notes

Our 2018 UV Vineyard Pinot Noir is both savory and fruit-forward, where notes of raspberry, brambleberry, cherry intertwine with hints of herb, wild game, and allspice. The palate is soft and velvety with lush black fruits and a well-rounded finish. This fruit comes from one of the many small vineyards farmed by the late, legendary Ulises Valdez. Perched on a ridge near the bucolic town of Occidental, this vineyard is comprised of classic Russian River Goldridge soils and enjoys a crisp, maritime climate.
