Grown in marine clay, shale and chert soils on a north-facing slope perched above the Santa Ynez River, the Pinot Noir, Fiddlestix Vineyard lies just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The cool marine influence allows the temperamental Pinot Noir grape to ripen to perfection while retaining its firm but lively structure. The 2020 vintage offers notes of bright cherry, pomegranate, and raspberry with hints of allspice and rosemary on the nose and a lingering mineral finish.
