Winemaker's Notes

Named after its method of fermentation in concrete eggs, the second bottling of this opulent Chardonnay is a result of experimentation and curiosity. A blend of two clones, Dijon 548 and Dijon 95, the 2020 Chardonnay, Méthode Béton is beautifully perfumed with notes of orange blossom and acacia flower. On the palate, the 2020 vintage offers a rich texture from extended aging on its lees, with notes of shaved almond, white peach, and citrus for a bright, crisp finish.
